The U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE's) Wind Program, through its Wind Powering America initiative, announced that Nebraska Public Power District and Princeton Municipal Light Department are co-recipients of the 2010 Public Power Wind Award at the American Public Power Association National Conference in Orlando, Florida. This eighth annual award honors the two American Public Power Association member organizations for their outstanding leadership, innovation, and project creativity through the use of wind energy technologies.
