Cell Phone Runs on Ethanol
Runs on ethanol and exhausts water and carbon dioxide.
DigInfo News posted a video demonstration today of a prototype fuel-cell powered mobile phone that runs on ethanol and exhausts water and carbon dioxide. The phone, developed by KDDI and Toshiba, is about the size of a standard cell phone, and can remain on standby for two weeks with 3.5 ml of fuel in the tank. The fuel cell can also be replaced by a standard battery if desired.
