The Center for Digital Government's Digital Counties Survey is conducted in partnership with the National Association of Counties (NACo) annually in the spring: March - April. All U.S. counties are invited to participate (consolidated county-city jurisdictions are invited to participate in the Digital Cities Survey in the summer). The awards are presented during NACO's annual conference each July.
Call for Entries 2012 Digital Counties Survey!
The Center for Digital Government, the National Association of Counties and the Digital Communities program invite you to participate in the 2012 Digital Counties Survey, available online at http://www.centerdigitalgov.com/2012DigCounties.
Responses are due Friday, May 11, 2012.
In its tenth year, the survey focuses on outcomes (the results achieved through the use of technology). What was good practice has become a matter of survival in the wake of the fiscal crisis.
The online survey is open to all U.S. counties. Top-ranked counties will receive the Digital Counties Survey award and will be honored at a reception during NACo’s annual conference. Additionally, winners will be featured on govtech.com, in Government Technology magazine and the Center’s best practices and thought leadership white papers.
Awards are based on the four population categories. The awards reception will be held during the National Association of Counties’ annual conference July 13-17, in Pittsburgh/Allegheny County, PA.
The Center thanks CDW-G, Cisco, Motorola, Quest Software, and Symantec for underwriting the 2012 Digital Counties Survey and for supporting county governments in their efforts to better serve their constituents.
